Every little life matters and deserves to be celebrated

I created this page for Say Their Name Day to raise funds for Sands and Red Nose so they can continue their important work supporting bereaved families across Australia.

If you can support my fundraiser, you will be helping to bring care and comfort to families when they need it most.

Every dollar raised helps support bereaved families by making sure every family has access to the information and networks they need to move forward and rebuild their lives, now and in the future. 

That means timely access to information resources, an understanding voice on the end of the phone, and an ongoing connection with other families through support groups and remembrance activities.

So please, help me raise much-needed funds to ensure every bereaved family has access to the support they need, for as long as they need it.

Sebastian’s Story

Wednesday 24th Mar
On the 15th of December 2016 we welcomed our gorgeous little boy Sebastian Cooper Sutcliffe into the world via C-Section. Sebastian was a very healthy little boy, he loved his food and sleep. When Sebastian was 6 months old he started to have febrile convulsions when his temperature was only around 38.6 - 38.5 so only just a temperature. We were in hospital for Four days trying to find out why and what was causing these Febrile convulsions. He had a lumbar puncture, blood tests, urine tests and a Head CT scan to see if it was anything with his brain. During this time Sebastian had 4 seizures he had 1 at Daycare and was taken to hospital again, but nothing was ever found.  Other than these seizures Sebastian was a very healthy boy. 

On the 17th of September 2017 we had our whole world come crashing down, we were in absolute shock as our sweet little Sebastian had passed away suddenly and unexpected at only 9 months old.  During this time I was currently pregnant with my daughter ( Ivy) who is now 3 years old. Sebastian left us, along with his 2 older Sisters (Stephanie and Amy) and his only brother Hayden during the night. A wake up that we think about every morning since. 

We wish Seb good night every night, blow him a kiss and tell him we love him.  We take sun flowers to his grave. We give him presents for his birthday, Christmas and Easter.  We miss him every day.
