Kara and Dylan's story - In loving memory of Noah Chase

19 Mar 2023
We are so grateful when family & friends say Noah’s name, it really helps in honouring our precious baby boy and being able to talk about him openly.

Kara & Dylan - Noah's parents

Noah Chase Hearn was born on his due date Thursday 23.2.23 at 5.49am weighing 8.6lbs and measuring 52cm long.

Born sleeping and absolutely perfect with the cutest button nose, pouty lips and long limbs.

Post waters breaking a last minute scan before being induced at our local hospital revealed an extremely rare condition causing a severe fluid build up in Noah’s brain. We were rushed via Ambulance to the Royal Women's Hospital where further scans confirmed our worst fears and sadly Noah passed away during labour.

We cannot thank the incredible doctors and midwives enough for the outstanding care and genuine compassion we have received during the most difficult time of our lives.

This was so unexpected and the doctors at the Royal Women’s Hospital are trying really hard to get us some answers. There is so much more trauma to our story than we have shared as this is still so recent and raw.

Thank you so much to family and friends for all your love and support, we truly are so grateful.

Thanks also for respecting our privacy and allowing us time and space to grieve during this absolutely heartbreaking time.

Mummy and Daddy love and miss you so, soooo much gorgeous boy.

Forever in our hearts baby Noah.
